The 19th Tournament had two mini tournaments!
It was really a great event that happened at the Greenhills Branch! There a lot of familiar faces and a few new faces. Only (approximately) 21 joined the tournament and we had to make 2 mini tournaments. And another first for Mushiking Philippines, mommies are playing Mushiking! Looks like I don't see dads participating in the tournament. For mini tournament A, we had a mom, 4 champs, a girl, an aunt and kids. There really great battles in the pace was kinda good. A kid champ was knocked out of the competition early but he signed up for mini tournament B. Many players who lost in the early stages signed up for the mini tournament B. I did see a lot of second chancers, though. All champs have been eliminated before they can even reach the final battle. After much battles (and regular participation), one of our regulars is now a champ! :D Mini Tournament B started right after the prizes were awarded to the final two. After a pictorial, the participants were eager to battle. A pregnant mom and her son battled each other out and two brothers even battled each other out. The kid champ lost his opportunity to win the tournament again. Well, at least he tried. The pregnant mom won but she let her son take mher place. Wait, that was a day before Mother's Day. It was so sweet for the mom that I told her son to say a "Happy Mother's Day" to her (and a Thanks) on Mother's Day. The older brother won against his younger brother and happened to make it to the final battle. That kid even forgave his little brother for winning over him. How sweet! The 3-time runner-up even made it to the final battle! After much struggle... The 3-time runner-up is now a champion!!! All that hard work finally paid off! The kid, however, had to shed tears because of his loss. I tried to assure him that he get the opporunity next time. ;) This was a great experience to see such events. See you all on the 20th Tournament! :D | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
