I was invited to host for the Mushiking Tournament in Xavier School, Greenhills. Too bad I didn't host the first day but i managed to host the second day! :)

Okay, the area was covered but not indoors. The heat of the sun didn't make it worse, so I was fine. There nine machines (including one in the "Mushiking Stage") and it was coin-operated. A game would cost PhP 30.00 because that is the price of one token. Since this tournament is exclusive to Xavier School students, they're the only ones capable of joining the tournament. One of the partipants happens to be a participant of the Mushiking Tournaments in Power Plant Mall. The other kids were really new to me but soon I got to know a small number of them.

During the tournament, the familiar student* really fought his way to the final two spot. Other students really used a good number of beetles (the Tournaments in Q Power Station, Power Plant Mall branch is overwhelmed by rare beetles!) and I had a hard time keeping the audience members away from the participants and their machines. Only sixteen (16) students participated and the tournament used two machines. There wasn't much of an audience, though.

A grade six student made it to the final two with the familiar student. They battled real hard and the familar student hoped to win. But he was put to 1st runner-up spot as the sixth grader wins and is now an official champion of the 2nd Xavier School Mushiking Tournament! Some students were even asking me when's the next tournament. I happily announced it, before and after the tournament. I hope I get to see their faces in Power Plant Mall.

Well, better update my card listing. I am currently looking for a Giraffe Stag-beetle, first edition card. If you have one, have a heart and help a colletor here! You will be appreciated! :D
