The 28th Tournament... is... (how do you say it again?)... DISAPPOINTING.

This is the lowest number of participants we ever had in Mushiking Philippines history. TEN PARTICIPANTS?!?!?!? Why, oh why is happening?

Well, we got a new champ here. Even if it was "good", I couldn't recollect good moments because of the number of participants that came...

I did lose to a three-time champ in a friendly game. That made me... enlightened in a way...

The 27th Tournament is surprisingly... bad?

Well, I expected 32 participants (like the other time) but it was reduced to half!!! Sixteen participants only joined! I was so saddened by the fact that the numbers fell... :(

The good part was the fact some familiar faces appeared. It's been a long time since they were M.I.A. (Missing In Action).

Our three-time champ had the chance in getting that important win but the 2-time champ who went M.I.A. got his third win and a right to have a gold card!!! We got a third Gold-Card holder! :D

The experience was a balance of worth it and disappointing. What's happening to Mushiking Philippines?

Well, I have to say that the tournaments are getting shorter and shorter each passing day. Sorry I was not able to post about the 23rd to 26th Mushiking Tournaments. You can say that I recently got my hands full on other video games. Don't worry! The spirit of Mushiking is still in me (because I still host them!).

So far, we got a 4-time champion (he's becoming merciless!), three-time champ kid and new champs as well. Also, we got Mushiking Third Edition!!! The cards itself come in first ediition designs but have a different background and six new beetles have been added (sorry, no new storyline or skill cards). Plus, the beetles have "Parallel Collection" versions that have a dark background, a gold stamp and a wireframe map on them! What's also cool is that the Atlas Beetle is from the Philippines!!!

I got my hands on a few Third Edition cards. Getting the older editions are now cheap (PhP 28.00 a game). Better get 'em before they're gone! :D

The 22nd Tournament was a blast (and a bit shocking)!

Before the tournament, I met a seller and completed the deal of a Hercules Beetle, Parry Stag-beetle, Grand Stag-beetle and Caucasus Beetle! It was expensive though... (-.-;)

There was a korean who joined us and we had many familiar faces (even those I haven't seen in a while!). There were three dads and at least five champs present. One of the champs used his "other" name and it surprised me! ;) The korean won the first round but I think he lost on the second round... Some of the champs didn't make it to the final four and it was only a two-time champ who made it. This two-champ even had a destined battle against his opponent for the first time he won a tournament.

I was strange why did the three-time champ didn't join... I guess he thought there was another tournament. Oh well...

The first female champ participated as well but she was eliminated at the first round. I say this is one tournament with a good number of champs. I had at least made two disqualifications because they didn't show up. It saddens me a lot. :(

For the final battle, it was a two-time champ and a regular were up against each other and there were people who cheered for both of them. After the exchange of blows, we have a new champ! :D

Now for the shocking part. An audience member gave an outburst and that was a really nasty comment on the two-time champ. I can't believe on what he said! I just wondered what made him angry... Is it because he really wanted him to win? I'm even getting scared about this!
